Roman Bridges, Christleton

The picturesque Roman Bridges are thought to have been constructed around 1470 and used by pack horses travelling from Chester to London and now runs through the nature reserve run by Cheshire Wildlife Trust. The 5.5 mile walk can be done as a circular route from The Stamford Bridge Inn which welcomes Dogs in the bar area, conservatory and extensive beer garden. For a detailed description of the route The Stamford Bridge Inn has published a leaflet.
